Mission

The I.E.E.N.I. Foundation’s mission is both global and local — the preservation and sustainability of the Valley’s and rain forest’s natural resources for the indigenous people. Its ongoing purpose is to engage in hands-on research and education as its two main strategies for accumulating knowledge about native species and their sustainable use, and bringing this information and natural products to the world.

The I.E.E.N.I. Project in Vilcabamba Valley encompasses the creation of a Green Model for the Environment comprised of a Land Trust, an Educational and Cultural Center, Longevity Water Company, Tagua Massage Tool Company, The Vilcabamba Longevity Center, an Organic Heirloom Seed Company and a Children’s School.

Vision

The Vilcabamba Valley in Southern Ecuador was created by glacial waters from the high Andes Mountains. Over centuries, this water became endowed with unsurpassed life-giving qualities that eventually resulted in a natural chemistry which enhances longevity in the native peoples who inhabit the Valley. In the Vilcabamba Valley, people live to an average age of 100 years because of the Clustered Mineral Water, rich soil, simple farming lifestyle, pure air and invigorating mountain climate. Clustered Mineral Water is known to rejuvenate the cells by alkalizing the body on a daily basis.

This sacred land will become an ecological paradise planted with a wide diversity of fruit trees, vegetables, flowers and medicinal herbs, providing a unique model of sustainable organic agriculture. People who visit Vilcabamba Valley will experience a sub-tropical, botanical paradise that is one of the most beautiful environments on Earth.

We are committed to the following goals:

• Preserve the Vilcabamba Valley, Ecuadorian Rain Forest and transform them into World Heritage Parks. I.E.E.N.I. will incorporate solar technology, ecological building materials and sustainable agriculture into the entire project.
   
• Support the indigenous Andean and Rain Forest peoples by providing fair-trade wage employment in all facets of its Green Businesses.
   
• The I.E.E.N.I. Foundation is on the forefront of international Eco-Green Commerce. We will market our name, our products and ideas about sustaining the environment. More about our products and services follows: 
   
• Eco-customers will experience relaxation from our green Rain Forest products such as the Tagua Nut Massage Tool. This amazing health product is hand-made by the indigenous peoples of the Ecuadorian Rain Forest, utilizing natural materials grown under the jungle canopy.
   
• A global market will be expanded to support the I.E.E.N.I. Foundation’s Organic Heirloom Seed Company which grows fruits, vegetables, culinary herbs and flower seeds on the 406 acres of the I.E.E.N.I. Foundation’s land in Vilcabamba Valley.
   
• Build the Vilcabamba Longevity Center where international visitors will come to retreat and rejuvenate their health through organic live food cuisine, spiritual fasting, Yoga, exercise, and other natural health care techniques.
